Graduation Information

Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2024

  • Saturday, June 8, 2024
  • Ceremony Begins at 2:00pm
  • Lundeen Field, Azalea Park, Brookings, OR

Students receiving a BHHS diploma from any of the district educational facilities (BHHS, BHOA, BRIDGES) can participate in the ceremony.

Mandatory Rehearsal

  • Friday, June 7, 2024 
  • Meet at 9:00am in the BHHS back Parking Lot
  • Full Dress Rehearsal & District Walk Through Celebration

Additional information on policies and guidelines will be shared with seniors.

Parking:
Parking at Lundeen Parking Lot will be for graduating senior parents/guardians only. Each Senior will be given a parking pass on May 1st when they sign up for graduation walking order. They will then give that pass to their family. There is only enough parking to accommodate one vehicle per Senior. There are three other parking lots around the park (see the map) that will have parking available There will also be bussing from the BHHS parking lot to Lundeen Field. The bus will be handicap accessible.
 
Seating:
There will be between 400 and 500 seats available as well as three grandstands It is wise to bring your own chair just in case the seating has filled up. The sidewalk on Lundeen Lane can also be a viewing area for graduation. We ask that you do not place any chairs there until 2:10 pm AFTER the graduates have made their way to the stage. The sidewalk will be their walking path.
 
ADA Seating:
There will be handicap accessible seats available on the sidewalk area.
