Route Update for Monday October 2nd 2023 There will be several changes to bus routes for the afternoon today, Monday October 2nd. These changes are due too short staffed along with athletic event travel today. We thank our bus riders and their families for their flexibility.
Bus Incident At approximately 2 p.m., BHSD received reports that the Brookings-Harbor High School JV Football team bus had an incident while on the way to the game this evening versus Sutherlin High School. The bus slid from the roadway about 26 miles from Sutherlin. All members of the team were accounted for and safely moved off the bus while it was inspected and brought back onto the road. The plan is for the team to proceed to the game on the bus, as planned. We will provide updates if anything changes with the team’s travel plans or tonight’s game.
Bus schedule update - Sept. 20, 2023 Due to an update to the high school bell schedule, all afternoon (PM) bus drop-offs for students K-12 may be up to 15 minutes earlier on Wednesdays, starting today 9/20/2023.
