Hello Bruin Families,
As we’ve begun the school year, it has been great to see your students again. September is quite a busy month at Brookings-Harbor High School. We have a number of events coming up soon.
Next Tuesday, September 9th, will be a busy day at Brookings Harbor High School. It is Picture Day. Picture packets were sent home with your student last week if you are interested in ordering pictures or more information, please visit the LifeTouch website.
We will also have our Open House Tuesday, September 9th, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.. Everyone is invited to meet your students’ teachers and enjoy nachos provided by our food service staff. There will also be an informational Dual Credit Meeting for those families who have students who are enrolled in college level classes. The Dual Credit meeting will be from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m in the high school library.
On Wednesday, September 17th, we will have a Senior Information Night presented by TRIO and Aspire. The presentation will start at 6:00p.m. in the high school cafeteria.
Homecoming will be in September this year and our leadership students are already working hard to coordinate the themes and events. Spirit week will be from September 22nd to the 26th. Powder Puff is Wednesday, September 24th from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Homecoming Varsity Football game will start at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 26th. The Homecoming dance will take place on Saturday, September 27th, from 8:00 p.m.-10:30 p.m. More information will be provided in the days to come.
FAFSA Application week will start September 29th and run through October 5th. There will also be an informational night, in the high school library, on October 1st, starting at 6:00p.m.
Finally, as a reminder, you can check osaa.org for any changes or updates to our athletics schedule. We will still continue to send out information if things change.
