Principal Update 02.20.2023

Honor Roll
We are excited to announce and celebrate our 1st semester honor roll students! You may view the list on our website by copying and pasting this link into your browser: : https://4.files.edl.io/4bd3/02/17/23/030806-db4941ef-6b55-455a-a2e3-677a31f1317e.pdf. Additionally, you should have received your student’s report card via mail by now. If you did not, please contact our registrar, Ashley Pruitt, [email protected]

Now that we are well into the 2nd semester, you should see entries in your student’s gradebook. Please be sure to check grades regularly and reach out to your student’s teacher if you have any questions or see missed work. It’s important that students stay on top of their assignments because the second semester always seems to fly by quickly.

Summer School

Students who experienced first semester failures will be receiving a letter in the upcoming weeks alerting them to summer school credit retrieval opportunities. We send these out early so that families can save the dates and keep their students on track to graduate.

Keeping Bus Lanes Clear
If you need to visit the school or pick your student up for an appointment, please be sure to avoid parking in the bus lane 20 minutes before the start and end of the school day to avoid any conflicts with buses.

Food Delivery
In order to safely monitor and protect our students, all food deliveries must be dropped off to the front office. Students may pick those deliveries up during their lunch period or after school. Thank you for understanding that we do not call students out of class for deliveries.

We are excited to announce that we are holding our 2nd annual BHHS College & Career Fair on Wednesday, April 19th. Help us sign more businesses and career opportunities up by emailing me for a copy of the registration form. All questions or inquiries should be directed to me.
