In the summer of 2015, Oregon passed Senete Bill 856 “Erin’s Law” that mandates sexual assult prevention education in grades K-12.

Jackson County Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) is a non-profit organization that provides support and training to southern Oregon school districts as well as direct supports to sexual assault victims in Jackson County.  Staff from Jackson County SART will be presenting an initial workshop in your student’s class the week of May 2, 2022. Jackson County SART’s program offers a comprehensive 9-12th grades sexual and gender violence prevention curriculum for schools that focus on prevention and risk reduction methods. The lessons are age appropriate and aligned with state and national sexual health standards and Erin’s law recommendations.
