Message for Brookings-Harbor Online Academy (BHOA) Families
Hello, Bruins!
We are pleased to announce that we are holding picture makeup day next Friday, March 19th, from 8:30am-10am and 2:30pm to 4:00pm in the Azalea Middle School gym for BHOA students. We are implementing a paperless, no-touch process to ensure that our student’s picture-taking experience is a safe one. You should have received an email from Lifetouch with your picture code to aid you in ordering photos but you can also visit our website for more information. Please click on the LINK to sign up for an appointment.
PSAT testing will be held April 21 for BHOA 10th grade students. There are 12 spots available, and sign up will be first come, first serve. Please email Danielle Padalinski at [email protected]. We will contact you to confirm whether or not you have a test reservation.
The end of the 3rd quarter is quickly approaching. The 4th quarter will begin April 1, 2021. Please make sure you are logging on and making progress in your online courses everyday. If you have a Student Learning Plan for an incomplete course from the second semester of last year, Danielle Padalinski is reaching out to families to schedule individual or small group tutoring sessions.
If you are planning ahead, Spring Break is from Monday, March 22nd through Friday March 26th. Athletic teams will continue with their practice schedules so reach out to your coaches for more information regarding that week.
We are still looking for several textbooks from last year and first semester. Please have your students return them to our lobby as soon as possible.
Have a great weekend, Bruins!
