The Brooking-Harbor High School Marching Band and Color Guard, directed by Corey Tamondong, will be among the entries marching in the 81st Annual Azalea Festival parade on the morning of Saturday, July 18, in Brookings.
This event is voluntary for the student band participants, and social distancing guidelines have been observed at practices leading up to the event in accordance with the state health guidelines regarding COVID-19 prevention. About 15 members of the band will be in attendance.
The band and color guard will perform the Bruins fight song as they march the route on Highway 101/Chetco Ave from Easy Street to Oak Street, in their Bruin band T-shirts. The parade starts at 10 a.m.
