Gold Day & Early Release Day
• If you would like to play Powder Puff Football Homecoming week please come to the front office and pick up a form. All forms and the 15.00 payment are to be turned into Tina at the Front office by Sept 27th.
• ACT registration deadline for the October 26th test here at BHHS is Friday September 20. If you need a fee waiver please come to counseling.
• Graduation supply meeting will be Friday September 27 during senior's cohort.
• Knowledge Bowl Teams! Practice in rm 406 starting at 8:00 to 8:20 every Tuesday and Thursday. Bring yourself and whatever you need to be awake and ready to play.
• Robotics meetings will be held every first and third Tuesday of the month starting at 3:30 p.m. in room 307.
• Improv Night is this Friday September 27th in the Auditorium, suggested donation of $7.
• This Thursday is the first meeting for the BHHS Historical Society. We will meet after school in Garvin’s room from 3:30 to 4:30. Please come if you are interested. Bus passes can be provided by Ms. Garvin if needed.
• September is Hispanic Heritage month. To celebrate this, the Multicultural club will be presenting the school with a variety of important Hispanic figures in American and Latino history. Today’s figure is Jean Michel Basquiat, a Black Puerto Rican graffiti artist who rose to fame in the 1980’s. His refined abstract graffiti got the attention of New York galleries and even Andy Warhol himself.
