Use the REMIND app to request an unlock, or email teachers Monday through Thursday. If you need a quiz or test unlocked over the weekend, use the REMIND app to request, or call the summer school # to reach an admin.
What if I fail a test or a quiz two times?
Go back into the unit and take careful notes. Share those notes with your teacher and ask them to unlock the quiz. You can also request a Google Meet to discuss points you need to clarify.
How much time do I have to take a test?
The standard time is 90 minutes but we can give you more time if you request it. We can also open a test for you on a Thursday if you are likely to get to that point over the weekend.
When have I earned credit for the course?
You need to complete all assignments, with a total grade of 60% or better to earn credit.
If I don’t understand a concept, how do I get help?
You will have two check-ins scheduled per week. You can clarify any concepts then or you can also email the teacher or text Remind to schedule an appointment to go over the material.
Can I work on Edgenuity outside of class scheduled time?
You can work on Edgenuity at any time, day or night, in a car, in a tree, in a box, with a fox, you get the idea. It even works on smartphones. The only hangup is that you need to plan ahead to request any upcoming test unlocks if you think you will get to one before the next class meeting date/time.
What happens if I don’t finish in time?
The course will be marked as WIP, or work in progress, to be finished next school year.
